Ant Communications provides marketing communications solutions.
Creativity and technology meet not only in design and prepress but more
significantly in streamlining localization workflows,
investigating web-to-print approaches and the development of many tools that
ease the life of the graphic professional and the consumer alike. When there's
an overseeable gap, e.g. between consumer and professional result, we try to bridge it
with a helpful utility, such als the "Expandable list HTML generator".
For small and medium-sized websites we increasingly advise to use online web-editors. These
editors are mostly quite basic which is a good thing because our clients prefer
to operate their website themselves, after we have designed it and set it up. They can do
so without restrictions.
Sometimes we have to deal with limitations
of those systems. In this case a specific webpage (the concertlist of
Uriël Ensemble) needed HTML-coding because of expandable texts. We did not want
to confront the client with HTML-coding, so we made a tool in which the client
can copy their text from a Wordfile, with some easy-to-remember conventions. The
tool converts it into an expandable/collapsable HTML-list in one click.
We figured that there are more people who'd like to have this tool at hand.
